Wissinoming Park Advisory Council

We try to keep these to a minimum, and there's really only two driving principals behind them:

  • People live here and they are very considerate of us. We want to be considerate of them, too.
  • We have this park because someone else took care of it for us. We want to take care of it for the people we'll pass it along to.

So here are the rules:

  1. Groups that meet here will neither allow nor engage in any discriminatory practices or policies regarding race, creed, sex, sexual orientation, age, or national origin.
  2. Tobacco, alcohol and illegal drugs are not permitted on facility grounds or in its immediate vicinity.
  3. Loud, vulgar, or confrontational language are not permitted on facility grounds or in its immediate vicinity.
  4. Leave the park in at least as clean and orderly condition as you find it -- every day.
  5. Neither the Department of recreation nor the Advisory Council are responsible for anything left or stored on facility grounds.
  6. Use the park at your own risk.
  7. Violation of any park rules may result in warnings, revocation of permits, or legal action as appropriate.
  8. Events that have an approved permit take precedence over events that do not. Recreation Department events take precedence over all other events.
